Omnicom Group files automatic shelf

New York, March 22 - Omnicom Group Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the shelf are senior debt securities, which may be structured as convertibles.

Omnicom will use proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The New York company is focused on advertising, marketing and corporate communications.
