Omnicom files automatic shelf for debt securities, preferreds, stock

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 19 - Omnicom Group Inc. and Omnicom Capital Inc. jointly filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration for Omnicom Group covers common stock, preferred stock, guarantees of debt securities, subscription rights and warrants.

The registration for Omnicom Capital covers debt securities guaranteed by Omnicom Group.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

The New York global marketing and corporate communications company will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
