New Issue: Omnicom sells $800 million 2.6% notes due 2031 to yield Treasuries plus 97 bps

Columbus, Ohio, April 28 – Omnicom Group Inc. priced an upsized $800 million of 2.6% long 10-year senior notes (Baa1/BBB+) at 99.823 to yield 2.62% and a spread of Treasuries plus 97 basis points on Wednesday, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BofA Securities, Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. were the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used, with cash on hand, to redeem the company’s $1.25 billion of outstanding 3.625% senior notes due May 1, 2022.

The global marketing and corporate communications company is based in New York.
