Omnicare repurchases $52 million 3.75% convertibles in second quarter

Norfolk, Va., July 23 – Omnicare, Inc. repurchased about $52 million of its 3.75% convertible senior subordinated notes due 2025 during the second quarter of 2014, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The total purchase price was about $134 million in cash.

As of June 30, $80 million of the convertibles remain outstanding.

Omnicare is a Cincinnati-based provider of pharmaceutical services to patients and providers.
