Former Malden Mills Chapter 7 case closed; estate accounts all at zero

Pittsburgh, Oct. 11 - OM Industries, Inc.'s Chapter 7 bankruptcy case has been closed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.

All estate accounts have a zero ending bank balance, according to a report submitted by the company's Chapter 7 trustee.

OM Industries, formerly Malden Mills, is a Lawrence, Mass.-based textile company that filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 10, 2007 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The case was transferred to the Massachusetts court on Jan. 16, 2007. Its Chapter 7 case number is 07-40124.
