Fitch affirms OM Financial

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the A- insurer financial strength rating of OM Financial Life Insurance Co. and its wholly owned subsidiary OM Financial Life Insurance Co. of New York, which are collectively referred to as Old Mutual Financial Network.

The outlook is stable.

According to Fitch, Old Mutual U.S. Life Holdings is the holding company for Old Mutual.

The most important factor in Old Mutual Financial Life's IFS ratings is the financial strength and support of Old Mutual, the agency said, adding that Old Mutual has provided capital support, management expertise from Old Mutual US, centralized services and reinsurance relationships.

The ratings of OM Financial also reflect the company's improved investment portfolio quality, good liquidity and solid asset-liability management program, Fitch noted.
