Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 7 – Arkema SA placed its first green bond, a €300 million issue of 0.125% six-year bonds, according to a news release Wednesday.
The offering was more than 10 times oversubscribed, the company said.
The bond is dedicated to financing the company’s new world-scale plant in Singapore to manufacture 100% bio-based Rilsan polyamide 11.
The chemical and materials maker is based in Colombes, France.
