Oman offering seven-year sukuk at mid-swaps plus 270 bps

By Colin Hanner

Chicago, May 23 – Oman is offering a seven-year sukuk at mid-swaps plus 270 basis points, a market source said.

Citigroup, HSBC, JPMorgan, Standard Chartered, Alizz Islamic Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank are joint bookrunners for the deal.

The size of the deal has yet to be determined, but in March Oman priced a combined $5 billion of notes due in five, 10 and 30 years.

The sovereign is expected to offer a 12-year sukuk as well, according to media reports from last week.
