S&P assigns BBB- to Oman bond

S&P said it assigned its BBB- long-term issue ratings to the proposed dollar-denominated Eurobond to be issued by Oman (BBB-/negative/A-3).

The amount and interest rate, among other details of the bond, will be determined during the placement.

Oman will use the bond's proceeds for general budgetary purposes.
