Oman sets talk for dollar benchmark five-, 10-year notes

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, June 8 – Oman set talk for its two-tranche offering of dollar-denominated and benchmark-sized notes due in five and 10 years, a market source said.

The five-year notes were talked at a spread in the mid-swaps plus 262.5 basis points area.

The 10-year notes were talked in the mid-swaps plus 337.5 bps area.

Citigroup, JPMorgan, MUFG, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Natixis are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The proceeds will be used for general budgetary purposes.
