S&P changes Oman outlook to negative

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on the Oman to negative from stable.

The A/A-1 long- and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings were affirmed.

S&P said the revision reflects the risk we see that the deterioration in Oman's fiscal or external positions could be sharper than the agency currently expects, or that growth in real GDP per capita could fail to accelerate.
