Omaha Public Power defeases all $96.46 million 2007A revenue bonds

Madison, Wis., March 2 – Omaha Public Power District said it defeased all of its outstanding 2007 series A electric system revenue bonds on Feb. 26.

Specifically, the issuer defeased the following:

• $3.6 million of bonds due Feb. 1, 2033;

• $9,065,000 of bonds due Feb. 1, 2036;

• $49,805,000 of bonds due Feb. 1, 2039; and

• $33.99 million of bonds due Feb. 1, 2043.

The bonds will be redeemed on Feb. 1, 2017.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
