Arkansas Student Loan preps $160.7 million sale of floating-rate notes

New York, Dec. 12 - The Arkansas Student Loan Authority is set to price $160.7 million of series 2012-1 student loan asset-backed Libor floating-rate notes, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (/AAA(sf)/AA+(sf)) will be sold on a negotiated basis with RBC Capital Markets LLC as the underwriter.

The notes are due Nov. 25, 2028.

Proceeds will be used to finance student loans to qualified Arkansas residents.
