Former Hostess shows negative $398,000 of EBITDA during June period

Pittsburgh, July 31 – Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., reported negative $398,000 of EBITDA for the period of May 31 through June 27 on zero net revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company posted negative $311,000 of EBITDA for May 3 through May 30, also on zero net revenue.
Old HB had an operating loss of $599,000 for the June period, shrinking from a $762,000 operating loss for the May period. The net loss for the latest period was also $599,000, compared to a $718,000 May net loss.
Cash holdings were $13.47 million as of June 27, up from $13.17 million at May 30.
Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
