Former Hostess EBITDA climbs to $840,000 during March period

New York, April 10 – Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted EBITDA of $840,000 for the period of Feb. 8 through March 7 on zero net revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, the company reported $658,000 of EBITDA for Jan. 11 through Feb. 7, also on zero net revenue.

Old HB also had an operating income of $414,000 for the most recent period, increasing from a previous operating income of $102,000.

The company’s net income for the March period rose to $9.5 million, a marked improvement from a net loss of $1.11 million during the February period.

Cash holdings were at $14.48 million as of March 7, compared to $14.85 million at Feb. 7.

Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
