Former Hostess sees negative $2.61 million of EBITDA for July period

New York, Aug. 29 – Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted negative $2.61 million of EBITDA for June 29 through July 26 on zero net revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Aug. 29 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company posted negative $3.2 million of EBITDA for June 1 through June 28, also on zero net revenue.
Old HB also reported an operating loss of $2.97 million for the July period, down from $3.56 million in June.
The net loss in July was $2.95 million, an improvement from a June net loss of $3.25 million.
The company had $28.31 million in cash as of July 26, down slightly from $29.03 million as of June 28.
Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
