Former Hostess posts negative $2.98 million of EBITDA for May period

Pittsburgh, July 3 – Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted negative $2.98 million in EBITDA for the period of May 4 through May 31 on zero net revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, the company reported negative $2.91 million of EBITDA for the period of April 6 through May 3, also on zero net revenue.

Old HB also reported a $3.32 million operating loss for the May period, widening from a $3.19 million April operating loss.

The May period net loss was $3.63 million, compared with a $3.15 million net loss for the previous period.

Old HB had $29.04 million in cash as of May 31, up from $28.12 million at May 3.

Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
