Former Hostess posts negative $2.91 million of EBITDA for May period

New York, June 6 – Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted negative $2.91 million of EBITDA on zero net revenue for the period between April 6 and May 3, according to its monthly operating report filed June 6 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, the company reported negative $1.15 million of EBITDA, also on zero net revenue, for the period of March 9 to April 5.

The company also reported a $3.19 million loss from operations, up from a $581,000 loss from operations during its April period.

The net loss was $3.15 million for the period, an increase from a $536,000 net loss in April.

Old HB had $28.12 million in cash as of May 3, narrowing from $29.51 million as of April 5.

Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
