Former Hostess reports negative $1.15 million EBITDA for April period

New York, May 9 - Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted negative $1.15 million of EBITDA on zero net revenue for the period between March 9 and April 5, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company reported negative $2.27 million of EBITDA, also on zero net revenue, for the period of Feb. 9 to March 8.
Old HB also reported a $581,000 loss from operations, down from a $3.77 million operating loss in its March period.
The net loss for its April period was $536,000, narrowing from $3.76 million in March.
The company had $29.51 million in cash as of April 5, down from $30.23 million as of March 8.
Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
