Former Hostess reports negative $2.27 million EBITDA for March period

New York, April 11 - Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted negative $2.27 million of EBITDA on zero net revenue for the period of Feb. 9 to March 8, according to a monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, the company reported negative $3.47 million of EBITDA, also on zero net revenue, for the period of Jan. 12 to Feb. 8.

The company also reported an operating loss of $3.77 million, narrowing from a $4.95 million operating loss reported for the February period.

The net loss for the March period was $3.76 million, compared with $6.21 million in February.

The company had $30.23 million of cash as of March 8, down from the $30.46 million it had as of Feb. 8.

Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
