Former Hostess posts negative $3.47 million EBITDA for February period

New York, March 14 - Old HB, Inc., formerly Hostess Brands, Inc., posted negative $3.47 million of EBITDA on zero net revenue for the period of Jan. 12 to Feb. 8, according to a monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company reported negative $2.68 million of EBITDA on zero net revenue for the period of Dec. 15 through Jan. 11.
The company also reported an operating loss of $4.95 million, an increase from a $3.86 million loss reported for the January period.
The net loss for the February period was $6.21 million, compared with $3.86 million in January.
The company had $30.46 million of cash as of Feb. 8, down from the $36.04 million it had as of Jan. 11.
Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
