Chrysler granted bridge order to extend exclusivity periods

New York, Aug. 27 - Old Carco LLC, formerly Chrysler LLC, obtained a bridge order to extend its exclusivity periods to file a plan of reorganization by 14 days, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The company's exclusive plan-filing period was extended to Sept. 11 from Aug. 28. The hearing for Chrysler's exclusivity extension motion was adjourned to Sept. 10 from Aug. 27.

Chrysler, an Auburn Hills, Mich.-based automotive company, filed for bankruptcy on April 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-50002.
