Arkansas defeases its 2007B higher education general obligation bonds

Norfolk, Va., March 13 – The State of Arkansas plans to redeem its series 2007B higher education general obligation bonds, according to a notice.

The following will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on June 1, 2017:

• $13.09 million of 4.5% bonds due June 1, 2023;

• $18,715,000 of 4.5% bonds due June 1, 2024;

• $19,555,000 of 4.5% bonds due June 1, 2025;

• $20,435,000 of 4.5% bonds due June 1, 2026;

• $21,355,000 of 4.5% bonds due June 1, 2027;

• $22,315,000 of 4.75% bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $7,085,00 of 4.75% bonds due June 1, 2029; and

• $4,275,000 of 4.375% bonds due June 1, 2029.
