Oklahoma Gas & Electric to price $300 million of 30-year notes

Knoxville, Tenn., March 28 – Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. is preparing to sell $300 million of fixed-rate senior notes due April 1, 2047, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will feature a make-whole call until Oct. 1, 2046 and will then be callable at par.

Bookrunners are Mizuho Securities USA Inc., RBC Capital Markets Corp. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The electric utility is based in Oklahoma City.
