Oklahoma Gas & Electric selling $250 million 30-year bonds

Virginia Beach, Dec. 8 – Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. is planning a $250 million sale of senior notes due Dec. 15, 2044, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

There will be a make-whole call at an undisclosed spread over Treasuries until June 15, 2044 and a par call after that date.

Bookrunners are J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBS Securities Inc., U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be added to the company's general funds and used to repay debt, to fund capital expenditures, for working capital and for general corporate purposes.

The electric utility is based in Oklahoma City.
