Oklahoma Gas & Electric selling $250 million 30-year bonds Wednesday

New York, May 8 - Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. is planning a $250 million sale of senior notes due May 1, 2043 (A2/A-/A+) for Wednesday, according to a market source and a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

There will be a make-whole call over Treasuries until Nov. 1, 2042 and a par call after that date.

Bookrunners are Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA) Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and RBS Securities Inc.

Proceeds will be added to the company's general funds and used to repay debt, to fund capital expenditures, for working capital and for general corporate purposes.

The electric utility is based in Oklahoma City.
