ConocoPhillips to buy Oklahoma Development bonds on redemption date

By Ashley Montgomery

Kansas City, Kan., April 27 - ConocoPhillips Co. has chosen to purchase all of the series 2002, 2002B and 2003 revenue bonds issued by Oklahoma Development Finance Authority for the ConocoPhillips Co. Project, according to a notice.

As previously reported, on April 6, Oklahoma Development Finance submitted a notice of optional redemption of the bonds to the MSRB. The bonds were to be redeemed at par on April 23.

The authority then rescinded its call for redemption of all three series of bonds on April 19.

In lieu of the redemption, ConocoPhillips Co. notified the MSRB of its intention to purchase the affected bonds in full on the redemption date.

The bonds include $20 million of series 2002 bonds due June 1, 2037, $10 million of series 2002B bonds due Aug. 1, 2037 and $54.5 million of series 2003 bonds due Dec. 1, 2038.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the agent.
