Ohio plans to price $119.48 million capital facilities bonds

New York, Feb. 19 - The State of Ohio plans to price $119.48 million of series 2013 capital facilities lease appropriation bonds, according to a preliminary official statement.

The deal includes $25 million of series 2013A mental health facilities improvement fund project bonds, $13,845,000 of series 2013B mental health facilities improvement fund project bonds, $18 million series 2013A cultural and sports facilities building project bonds, $18,055,000 of series 2013B cultural and sports facilities building project bonds and $44.58 million of series 2013A adult correctional facilities building fund project refunding bonds.

The bonds will be sold through senior manager BofA Merrill Lynch. The co-managers are Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc., Piper Jaffray & Co. and the Huntington Investment Co.

The 2013A mental health bonds are due 2014 to 2023, and the 2013B mental health bonds are due 2014 to 2019.

The 2013A cultural and sports bonds are due 2014 to 2023, and the 2013B cultural and sports bonds are due 2014 to 2020.

The 2013A correctional facilities bonds are due 2016 to 2024.

Proceeds will be used to construct, equip, furnish, renovate and design mental health, cultural and sports and other facilities, as well as to refund existing adult correctional facilities bonds.
