Ohio set to sell $75 million general obligation bonds on Wednesday

New York, Oct. 20 - Ohio plans to bring to market $75 million in series 2009B Third Frontier research and development general obligation bonds on Wednesday, according to a sales calendar.

The bonds (/AA+/AA) will be sold through lead managers RBC Capital Markets Inc. and PNC Capital Markets LLC. The co-managers are Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc., Rice Financial Products Co. and Robert W. Baird & Co.

The bonds are due 2010 to 2019.

Proceeds will be used to fund research and development costs associated with the Third Frontier program, which expands the state's high-tech research capabilities and fosters the creation of new high-tech jobs in the state.
