S&P rates University Hospitals, Ohio, bonds AAA/A-1, AAA/A-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned ratings to five series of Ohio's hospital revenue bonds issued for University Hospitals Health System Inc.

An AAA/A-1 rating was assigned to $50 million of series 2008A and an AAA/A-1+ rating was assigned to $77 million of series 2008B, $75 million of series 2008C, $50 million of series 2008D and $25 million of series 2008E.

S&P also said it assigned an A+ underlying rating to all of the issuer's series 2008 bonds.

In addition, S&P said it affirmed the A+ long-term ratings and underlying ratings on $1.5 million of series 1999B and $289.46 million of series 2007A bonds, all issued for University Hospitals.

The rating on the series 2008 bonds reflects a letter of credit.
