S&P lifts Ohio revitalization bonds to AA-

Standard & Poor's said it raised the rating and underlying rating to AA- from A+ on Ohio's revitalization project bonds (issued under chapter 151 of the Ohio Revised Code).

At the same time, S&P said it raised the underlying rating on the state's other outstanding bonds (issued under chapter 166) to AA from AA-.

The outlook is stable.

S&P also said it assigned the AA- rating and stable outlook to the state's $50 million of series 2008A revitalization project bonds.
