New Issue: FirstEnergy reoffers $284.6 million pollution control revenue refunding bonds

New York, Aug. 9 – FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. reoffered $284.6 million of its pollution control revenue refunding bonds in four tranches, said an official statement.

The reoffering included $62.5 million of series 2009A bonds sold through the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority, $107.5 million of series 2009A bonds and $54.6 million of series 2010B bonds sold through the Ohio Water Development Authority and $60 million of series 2006A bonds sold through the Beaver County Industrial Development Authority of Pennsylvania.

All of the bonds were reoffered at a 4.375% rate and priced at par. The 2009A Ohio Air Quality bonds, the 2009A Ohio Water Development bonds and the 2010B Ohio Water bonds are due June 1, 2033, and the 2006A Beaver County bonds are due Jan. 1, 2035.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC was the reoffering agent.
