Ohio Power talks $350 million offering of 10-year notes at Treasuries plus 185 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., March 13 – Ohio Power Co. plans to price $350 million of 10-year senior notes on Friday, according to a market source.

The notes due April 1, 2030 (A2/A-) are initially talked to price with a spread in the Treasuries plus 185 basis points area.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., RBC Capital Markets, LLC and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. are the bookrunners.

Ohio Power is a Columbus, Ohio-based electricity provider and subsidiary of the American Electric Power Co., Inc.
