Oglebay Norton gets procedures for voting on reorganization plan

By Jeff Pines

Washington, June 16 - Oglebay Norton Co. obtained procedures for the voting on its reorganization plan, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The judge ordered the confirmation hearing to be scheduled after the company's disclosure statement is approved.

The voting deadline will be seven days before the confirmation hearing but not before Aug. 25.

Cleveland-based Oglebay Norton, which mines and transports minerals, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 23. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-10558.
