Occidental Petroleum to offer senior notes via three bookrunners

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 28 – Occidental Petroleum Corp. expects to price fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

Barclays, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to refinance the company’s $500 million of 1.5% senior notes that matured on Feb. 15, 2018 and for general corporate purposes.

Occidental is a Los Angeles oil and gas, chemical and midstream company.
