OCA posts $261,961 September operating profit

Pittsburgh, Nov. 9 - OCA, Inc. reported a $261,961 operating profit for September on $19.75 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

In August, the company reported a $2.35 million operating loss on $21.13 million in revenues.

The net loss for September was $1.33 million, improved from a $3.36 million August net loss.

Cash on Sept. 30 was $5.96 million, compared with $7.39 million at the end of August.

OCA, a Metairie, La., provider of business services to orthodontic and dental practices, filed for bankruptcy on March 14. The Chapter 11 case number is 06-10179.
