Oakland University, Mich., expected to price general revenue bonds

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, April 27 – Oakland University of Michigan said its board of trustees has authorized the issuance of series 2016 general revenue bonds.

The offering, which could total about $124 million, is being issued to construct, acquire, furnish and equip new student housing facilities, renovate the Oakland Center, Fitzgerald House and Anibal House and make other improvements to the campus.

The bonds could price as early as the week of May 31 through a syndicate led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

The pricing and timing may be affected by market or other factors.
