Oakland, Calif., intends to issue $100 million TRANs due 2011

New York, June 17 - The City of Oakland in California plans to price $100 million in series 2010-11 tax and revenue anticipation notes, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (MIG1/SP-1+/F1+) will be sold through senior managers J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Siebert Brandford Shank & Co. LLC.

The notes have split maturities with $50 million due March 30, 2011 and $50 million due June 15, 2011.

Proceeds will be used to fund general expenses required for fiscal year 2010-2011 ahead of the collection of taxes and revenues.
