Knoxville, Tenn., July 28 - Nytex Energy Holdings, Inc. settled a $5.93 million private placement of stock on July 22, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 5,933,102 common shares at $1.00 per share.

The private energy company is based in Dallas.
