Los Angeles, May 30 – NWS Holdings Ltd. announced it completed the first series of its previously proposed panda bonds on May 29.
NWS priced RMB 1.5 billion of 3.9% notes due May 29, 2026 at par.
Proceeds will be used to repay bank loans.
As announced in April, NWS had proposed to issue up to RMB 5 billion of bonds in China’s interbank bond market in multiple tranches within two years.
Hong Kong-based NWS Holdings operates businesses in infrastructure, facilities rental, construction-related contracting and public transport. The issuer is incorporated in Bermuda.
