Nuveen California Municipal Bond Fund 2 completes reorganization

San Diego, April 16 - Nuveen Multistate Trust II announced that the reorganization of Nuveen California Municipal Bond Fund 2 into Nuveen California Municipal Bond Fund is now complete, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As previously reported, shareholders of the Nuveen California Municipal Bond Fund 2 and the Nuveen California Tax Free Fund were asked to approve on March 30 the independent reorganization of both funds into the Nuveen California Municipal Bond Fund.

Along with the reorganization of Nuveen California Municipal Bond Fund 2, the reorganization of the Nuveen California Tax Free Fund was also approved, according to the mutual fund reorganization center on the Nuveen website.

The funds' investment adviser is Chicago-based Nuveen Fund Advisors, Inc.
