Chicago, June 1 - Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. sold ¥7.98 billion of 1.676% series G senior promissory notes due May 31, 2022 to affiliates of Prudential Investment Management, Inc. on Thursday.
The company amended its private shelf agreement on May 25 with Prudential to allow it to issue up to $150 million of additional notes, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The termination date of the shelf was extended to May 25, 2015.
The company entered into the private shelf agreement with Prudential on Oct. 1, 2009. The original amount was $100 million.
The Provo, Utah, personal care products distribution company previously said it may issue and request that Prudential purchase the promissory notes for a period of three years under that agreement.
