New Issue: NRW.Bank issues €500 million 10-year green bond to fund energy and water projects

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 16 – NRW.Bank issued a €500 million 10-year 0.875% green bond.

Proceeds from the bond, its third, will be used to fund energy- and water-related projects, according to a company news release.

About 80% of the funds will be used to finance climate mitigation projects, and the remaining 20% will be to support climate adaptation projects.

According to NRW.Bank, more than 60% of the investors were SRI driven, and the order book passed the €500 million after 45 minutes. There were 51 individual orders.

The issue was priced at the tight end of guidance at mids-waps minus 2 basis points and 35.9 bps over DBR 1% (08.2025).

The bond will be listed in Dusseldorf under the ISIN: DE000NWB0AC0, and the minimum denomination is €1,000.

HSBC and Credit Agricole CIB acted as lead managers.
