Des Moines, March 4 - Bucking Horse Energy Inc., which was formerly called NRG Investments Inc., said it raised C$8 million from a private placement of common shares.
The company sold 2 million common shares at C$4.00 apiece.
Proceeds were used for the company's acquisition of Gemini Energy Corp.
Bucking Horse, a Vancouver, B.C.-based natural gas exploration and development company, changed its name as part of the merger.
The company said its shares were listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "BUC" on Monday. It also said it expected its shares to be delisted from the Canadian Trading and Quotation System at the close of Tuesday.
