Fitch affirms Nova Kreditna

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor's long-term issuer default rating at A-, short-term issuer default rating at F2, individual rating at C and support rating at 1. The support rating floor is affirmed at A-. Its hybrid debt instruments are affirmed at BBB+.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the extremely high likelihood of potential support being received by the Slovenian government, should this ever be required, Fitch said. The agency's view on sovereign support has not changed with its recent partial initial public offering, as the Slovenian state remains a majority owner.

The ratings could change if the Slovenian state no longer holds a significant stake in the bank, Fitch said.
