Norton Healthcare, Ky., ponders $150 million new bond offering in 2016

New York, Dec. 2 – Norton Healthcare Inc. and Norton Hospitals Inc. of Kentucky announced Wednesday that they are planning a new debt offering in 2016.

The new deal will total about $150 million for new projects. An additional amount may be issued to refund existing debt, according to a Norton statement. The new issue will finance the construction, renovation, expansion and equipment of Norton Hospital, Norton Audubon Hospital, Norton Browboro Hospital, Norton Women’s Kosair Children’s Hospital – St. Matthew’s and Kosair Children’s Hospital, as well as building, renovate and repairing other patient-care related facilities.

Pricing of the deal is contingent upon market and other conditions.
