New Issue: Northwest Natural Gas settles $100 million 5.43% first mortgage bonds

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 6 – Northwest Natural Gas Co. settled a $100 million private placement of 5.43% 30-year first mortgage bonds on Friday, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds feature a make-whole call until July 6, 2052 and then become callable at par.

The utility company is based in Portland, Ore., and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwest Natural Holding Co.
