Moody's rates Northern Michigan University bonds A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to the Board of Trustees of Northern Michigan University's $106.5 million of general revenue bonds, series 2008A.

Sale of the bonds is expected on March 4.

Moody's also said it affirmed its A2 underlying rating on the university's outstanding debt.

The outlook is stable.
