S&P gives AA/A-1+ to N.C. State University bonds

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its AA/A-1+ rating to North Carolina State University at Raleigh's $66.605 million series 2008A variable-rate general revenue bonds.

The bonds are due Oct. 1, 2028.

The outlook is stable.

The short-term component of the rating reflects a liquidity facility provided by Bank of America NA, rated AA+/A-1+ by S&P.
