S&P revises Ares outlook to positive

S&P said it revised the outlook for Ares Capital Corp. to positive from stable.

“The outlook revision reflects ARCC's sustained strong operating results and further strengthening of its funding profile and financial flexibility over the last 12 months,” S&P said in a press release.

S&P said Ares continues to demonstrate strength in its market position and investment portfolio performance ranks among the best of business development companies.

It also affirmed its BBB- issuer credit and senior secured and senior unsecured issue ratings.
